Chargé développement durable et RSE - H/F

Job description

The sustainable development and CSR officer coordinates the implementation of the sustainable development policy with a view to reshaping the company’s business model in a way that reflects all corporate social responsibility (CSR) issues and, in doing do, contributes to the company’s overall performance.

Main duties

Sustainable development policy-setting

  • Helps identify the company’s most material risks and issues (environmental, social, human resource-related, etc.)
  • Helps set the overall strategy and identify the partners and resources needed to implement the sustainable development policy

Non-financial reporting

  • Helps identify and devise non-financial indicators
  • Arranges and coordinates data collection and consolidates reporting
  • Supervises third-party data audits where appropriate
  • Ensures that reporting meets regulatory requirements

Coordinates sustainable development initiatives

  • Works with senior management to develop action plans focusing on the most material identified issues
  • Supports the company’s various departments in building relevant CSR best practice into their processes
  • Issues warnings on CSR-related developments that could pose a threat to company
  • Benchmarks CSR best practice and holds regular discussions on practices and achievements in various sectors of the company (success stories, obstacles, procedures, etc.)
  • Oversees cross-disciplinary projects involving various individuals and teams within the company (responsible purchasing, green IT, quality of life at work, climate and energy strategy, etc.)

Regulatory watch

  • Keeps abreast of regulatory developments in the fields of CSR and non-financial reporting

External relations

  • Liaises with certification and audit bodies
  • Represents the company and protects its interests
  • Maintains dialogue with external stakeholders (NGOs, non-profits, think tanks, academia, etc.)

Writes the sustainable development report (for listed companies)

  • Helps write the CSR sections of official documents
  • Promotes CSR initiatives both in-house and with external partners

Training, information and awareness-raising

  • Produces informative materials and organises/leads training, information and awareness-raising sessions
  • Trains and coordinates a network of in-house champions to promote the benefits of sustainable development to employees
  • Arranges in-house forums and seminars

Job description

The quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) officer promotes and coordinates the company’s QHSE policy with a view to reducing risks. He/she drives continuous improvement in the company’s QHSE management system and related operational performance. Main duties

QHSE policy-setting

  • Supports managers in designing and implementing aspects of the company’s QHSE policy
  • Helps set targets in line with the regulatory and contractual environment (regulatory framework, customer expectations) and with senior management guidelines (labels and certifications)
  • Supports operational staff in ensuring that facilities, processes and products/services meet the stated requirements
  • Keeps abreast of changes in regulations relating to quality, health, safety, environment and working conditions
  • Translates standards and regulations into tangible practices (QHSE management system)

QHSE action plan development

  • Helps track quality, health, safety and environment indicators
  • Assesses risks relating to employees, work tools, products and sites (occupational illnesses, accidents, defects, environmental pollution, non-conformities, complaints from customers and stakeholders, transportation of dangerous goods, etc.)
  • Makes workstation layout, equipment selection and method and process design recommendations to various departments
  • Develops a continuous improvement programme and identifies remedial and preventive measures (risk prevention, process improvement, etc.)
  • Investigates accidents, complaints, pollution and other incidents in order to determine their root causes (workplace accidents, environmental incidents, etc.)

Implementation and monitoring of the QHSE action plan

  • Designs purpose-built tools (printed documents, training materials, personal protective equipment) to support decision-making, ensure traceability and make working procedures and instructions more reliable
  • Reviews, audits and inspects equipment and products to make sure they comply with relevant requirements
  • Ensures that customers and key stakeholders are satisfied
  • Analyses and reviews action plan outcomes against pre-defined objectives
  • Produces scorecards that collate feedback and field data
  • Monitors suppliers and subcontractors for QHSE performance

Training and knowledge-sharing

  • Recommends, designs and delivers employee training on preventing QHSE risks
  • Attends Health and Safety committee meetings
  • Sets up working groups on risk reduction and continuous process improvement
  • Coordinates a network of external partners (occupational health expert, claims assessors, local and municipal authorities, regional department for industry, research and the environment (DRIRE), departmental department for health and social affairs (DDASS), French National Research and Safety Institute for the Prevention of Occupational Accidents and Diseases (INRD), etc.)
  • Handles requests from regulatory authorities (submission of technical/administrative documents, etc.)
  • Liaises with audit and certification bodies during audits and/or on-site inspections

Job description

The project manager uses agile methods to manage a project or set of projects from start to finish – from scoping through to delivery – while meeting cost, quality and lead time imperatives.

Main duties

Scoping and requirements analysis

  • Works with the customer to scope the requirements of the project
  • Determines requirements in terms of human resources and technical skills
  • Prepares cost calculations and/or invoices
  • Sets a budget based on the project’s complexity
  • Assesses risks that could arise during the project

Project management, monitoring and coordination

  • Set up the project structures and establish the terms of operation (methods, steering tools, indicators, agile ceremonies, etc.)
  • Sets targets and deliverable deadlines
  • Selects and allocates resources in accordance with project constraints
  • Tracks and measures progress (creating scorecards, selecting indicators, scheduling steering committee meetings, etc.)
  • Supervises and coordinates the work of all internal and/or external players
  • Issues warnings about risks arising during the project
  • Approves the deliverables

Customer relations management

  • Organises and leads steering committee meetings
  • Shares project progress scorecards with the customer on a regular basis

Testing and going live

  • Tests the deliverables as required
  • Hands over the deliverables
  • Provides post-delivery service

Training and change management

  • Writes user documentation
  • Trains users
  • Provides change-management support

Upgrading and corrective maintenance

  • Supports post-delivery monitoring, upgrading and corrective maintenance for the deployed solutions (tools, applications, specific developments, etc.)

Competitive intelligence/technology watch

  • Carries out competitive intelligence/technology watch within the scope
