Job description

The data analyst analyses heterogeneous, and in some cases unstructured, data sets in order to extract insights to inform improvements to the company’s products and services.

Main duties

Analyses data-related requirements

  • Determines requirements in conjunction with operational staff

 

Data extraction and structuring

  • Harvests, selects and approves relevant data for analysis
  • Improves the quality of the company’s databases and enhances their content
  • Identifies tools and methods for acquiring data from a set of technically heterogeneous databases
  • Maintains data quality throughout the processing cycle

Data processing and analysis

  • Implements and ensures statistical data modelling processes
  • Uses algorithm-based tools to develop statistical models
  • Tests and reviews databases for quality and consistency
  • Uses advanced statistical methods to process large volumes of data/information
  • Implements predictive and recommendation models

Reporting and recommendations

  • Prepares analysis reports in response to requests from operational staff
  • Makes recommendations in order to boost performance

Development of support tools for internal customers

  • Helps implement the company’s marketing strategy
  • Helps develop business performance indicators for the company
  • Provides product managers with statistics to support decision-making and inform the conduct and analysis of prospecting campaigns

Technology watch

  • Keeps abreast of technological advances and the latest developments in data analytics software
  • Identifies and trials new modelling and data analytics methods

Product manager – M/F

Job description

The product manager designs new products or services and monitors their life cycle from production to marketing, working with various company departments (production, sales, etc.).

Main duties

Market analysis and intelligence

  • Conducts business intelligence and technology watch in order to keep abreast of the latest market trends and developments
  • Gathers information from market participants and suppliers
  • Produces market research or commissions research from service providers (consumer focus groups, customer case studies)

Product/service design

  • Defines the marketing strategy (qualitative and/or quantitative objectives, target audience, position and communication channel(s))
  • Designs the product or service, working with internal departments (production and sales) and external providers (agencies, production offices)
  • Adjusts the product position (price, image, value added)
  • Recommends media and below-the-line advertising spend
  • Recommends distribution channels as relevant to the agreed objectives

Campaign launch and coordination

  • Determines commercial offers, price positions, promotions and product life cycles in conjunction with the sales department
  • Prepares commercial presentations (sales support tools, launch strategy, advice)
  • Deploys BtoB and/or BtoC communication campaigns
  • Monitors sales on an ongoing basis and adjusts the marketing and product/service strategy accordingly

Budget management

  • Keeps track of the budget and all product marketing expenses in order to maintain profitability
  • Optimises all costs with a view to maximising profits

Reporting

  • Shares sales and profitability reports
  • Analyses the performance of the marketing plan

Promotions manager – M/F

Job description

The promotions manager devises and organises campaigns to boost the sales of a product or service.

Main duties

Promotional strategy design

  • Designs and recommends a promotional strategy, covering special offers, advertising across all media (brochures, radio, TV, print media, billboards, etc.), events and all types of promotional products (freebies, stands, etc.)
  • Draws on market research
  • Works closely with the marketing and sales departments

Sales team training

  • Advises and supports sales teams
  • Hosts training sessions

Analyses marketing and reporting data

  • Analyses and reports back on sales figures
  • Reviews impact and adjusts campaigns accordingly

Budget management

  • Keeps track of the promotional campaigns budget

Web project manager - M/F

Job description

The web project manager manages a project at every stage of its life cycle, from receipt of a requirement through to delivery

Main duties

Requirements analysis

  • Identifies and analyses customer requirements
  • Supports users in reviewing and analysing web-based practices
  • Writes specifications as agreed by customers (marketing department, customer services, etc.)
  • Defends and justifies recommendations
  • Sets an overall budget
  • Prepares the detailed functional analysis

Project management

  • Draws up the schedule, determines the resources and work breakdown structure, and sets the detailed budget
  • Coordinates the work of various teams (architects, developers, graphic designers, ergonomists, designers as well as gaming, e-commerce and on-line payment specialists, etc.)
  • Monitors the work of external service providers (if any)
  • Manages functional acceptance testing (user testing)
  • Coordinates project roll-out (monitors on-line publication and reports incidents and malfunctions)

Functional monitoring of the website

  • Suggests changes to the website (based on usage)
  • Monitors functional and technical aspects of the website
  • Identifies malfunctions and ensures they are resolved
  • Supports users during go-lives
