The DNA of the group

THE GROUP MUST BE EXEMPLARY IN TERMS OF JOB MOBILITY

Empowering employees to take control of their own careers has always been a priority at Bouygues. A common culture founded on respect, creativity, self-sufficiency and imparting expertise encourages employees to pursue opportunities within the Group.

The Bouygues group draws on its size and diversity to offer employees a multitude of career opportunities, enabling them to progress within their current profession, move into new ones and explore new locations worldwide.

An entrepreneurial group like ours is ideal for meeting new challenges, taking initiatives and discovering new horizons, giving employees a breadth of opportunities to flourish in their careers.

When recruiting, we look for a certain mindset in order to encourage internal job mobility:

  • in-house candidates must benefit from favourable treatment that will give them preference over external applicants;
  • requirements regarding the profiles sought must not examine solely the job vacancy, but also the applicant’s potential for development within the organisation. If there is too much focus on specialisation, in-house recruitment is practically automatically rendered impossible;
  • line managers of entities taking on in-house recruits must agree to provide training to adjust their skills to the immediate requirements of the job.

The duty I entrust to HR managers is to be the linchpin for achieving outstanding results in terms of job mobility at Bouygues.

I wish all employees an exciting and rewarding career within the Group and, in this vein, I encourage them not to hesitate in sharing their job mobility aspirations with their line manager and their HR manager.
